it would be amazing if you added online multiplayer somehow but great game! and maybe some more game customization like game modifiers

The Game is good and so is the new update but I think you should not necessarily revert the grab change but re add the old grab because the new grab breaks off way too early when you grab someone so you cant throw them or slam them into the ground

suggestion!

I've played this game for a while and have seen the similarities to another indie game called "Clone Drone in the Danger Zone" which has not only multiplayer like this game but also a campaign where you fight multiple low-level enemies, my suggestion is to add a mode where you fight easily beatable enemies that progressively get harder the more you play. again, it's just a suggestion if you feel it would not fit well into the game, then you don't have to make it.

Thanks a lot of the suggestion! It's a good idea, I think I will add a game mode where you can fight giant monsters, aliens and robots.

I love that game its so fun unless your friend kills all your clones

could you make a download option for Chromebooks?

Sadly my school has blocked itch.io. :( Is there a way you can post your game on GitHub? I still have access to that. 

I’ve added the zip file with the latest update to itch.io, but I’m not sure if it will work on Chromebooks. If you’re unable to access itch.io, you can try playing the game on Newgrounds https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/925961. There’s also a version available on Google Play. Since I’m not very familiar with GitHub, I haven’t posted the game there.

how does the damage system work?  my friends say that its based on how damaged the torso is but I think its how many blocks are broken on the robot

the robot can be destroyed in two ways, damaging enough blocks in the torso or destroying the lower body. I will maybe make some changes to this system in the next update

suggestion on the zero gravity space level add some blocks as mirrors that can reflect the laser to the enemy

just wondering are the different robots purely cosmetics? i feel like I play better when I am a certain character compared to another but idk :/

I don't think it should impact the gameplay but I will check the code.

Suggestion.

Everyone is asking for 3 player compatibility. Is there anyway to add a third robot to fight with each other?? Player 1 could be WASD Player 2 could be IJKL, and Player 3 could be Up, Left, Down, Right, or arrow keys. Also can you make an update where we can choose which powerups spawn? That is all. Thank you for this new update it is epic.

Thank you for your support :D Adding a 3 player mode is a good idea. I think it may take some time to implement but It could be done with some code adjustments and optimizations in a future update. I will release a small update soon with a powerup selection option.

I have some really cool suggestions for maps! 

(Keep in mind, these are just suggestions to give you some cool ideas, it is entirely up to you to choose whether you want to add these or not).

It would be a desert, some unique features could include, burning in the sun. In order to avoid burning in the sun, you need to hide in the oasis/pond on the map, or find some shade. Another unique feature is instead of the normal blocks/city buildings that you grab on other maps, you would be able to grab cactus because it is a desert map. 

I also think it would be cool to have a fully underwater map, I don't know how it could be decorated so you can be creative for that part!

Another map Idea would be space. There would be no gravity and instead of the normal blocks/city buildings you can grab planets to throw at your enemy! Maybe an asteroid could fly in and try to crush you or your friend when you are in space. 

Along with the recent update, I have noticed there is a new way to die to natural causes, Acid! I'm not sure if you are looking for more new ways to die, but I have some cool suggestions that might help. First suggestion is heat, for a desert. The second suggestion for an event that tries to kill you is, a tornado.  Another cool event would be meteors and asteroids! 


Now this part I am about to say isn't really a map suggestion but it is a new tool/weapon idea! Imagine the magnet, it is kind of like a grappling hook. This new weapon could work like the magnet, but when it comes in contact with the player, it would envelop them in something. For instance, vines. You could shoot out a vine which if it hits the player, it would cover them in vines and make it very difficult to move. 

Oh speaking of new weapons, I have one more idea. I think it would be cool to have some sort of whip as a weapon. It would just work like a long string which you spin your character to smack the player with.

Also my friend wants you to add a gun as a weapon. Maybe you could make the gun some sort of blaster to fit in with the robotic feel of the game.

Anyways that is all I have to say. I Absolutely love this gameeeeee.

Enter to grab people, then Enter again to launch them (player 2).

I love the new update! I would like to suggest some new features though. I would really like to have an option to disable power ups from spawning. A map selection feature would also be pretty nice. Could you change the sword to be a lightsaber? Also I feel like too many powerups spawn too often, and usually my hands get full with swords and I am not able to pick up anymore powerups, could you make a keybind to drop the sword in my hand so I can drop them and pick up a different powerup? What do the Giant Glasses do? 


Last suggestion, could you make player 2 use IJKL keys, instead of arrow keys? Or make it an option to do that? My arrow keys are small and difficult to press.

I will add more option for power-ups and the option to change the keyboard controls. The giant glasses can become stuck to objects when they collide with them but I am not sure if it's a good power-up for the moment. I think I will add a lightsaber as a different weapon 

I have two ideas to make the giant glasses a good power-up! 

1. Giant glasses get thrown onto the enemy and then it weights them down to the ground (Sunglasses are really heavy).

2. When giant glasses get equipped, it is put on the player and makes them slightly faster and stronger.

If you are still deciding whether or not giant glasses are a good power-up you could consider these changes to them to make it a better power-up!
